Bohemian bites: Restaurant serving mini versions of Czech food opens on Wenceslas Square
A new restaurant has opened on the ground floor of the Pytloun Boutique Hotel in Prague's Wenceslas Square. With a number of new hotel restaurants augmenting the city's culinary landscape in 2022, the opening itself isn't groundbreaking.
But the small bites concept and price point may just whet the appetite. Called Taliř ("Plate" in Czech) the restaurant serves traditional Czech cuisine with a tapas twist.

The unique fusion of the style of serving tapas and traditional Czech cuisine
Enjoy the great flavors of our cuisine in the new restaurant right on Wenceslas Square. The restaurant has 130 seats on two floors open to a common area with a direct view of Wenceslas Square. Every evening after 20:00 the restaurant switches into a stylish bar. Guests can enjoy Czech and bar tapas and a wide selection of drinks, cocktails and quality Czech wines while listening to live DJs or small live bands until midnight.
The restaurant is open daily from 7.00 to 24.00.
Breakfast is open from 7:00 to 11:00
Lunch Menu: from 12:00 to 14:00

We've extended our selection of breakfast items to include another sweet treat.
We have also added waffles to the "Do it yourself" menu, where we offer you fresh, boiled eggs and also a selection of sweet porridges.

From an early age, he had the opportunity to travel around the world as a tourist and build a relationship with hotels and the overall service that hotels can provide. While traveling, he is always interested in the local culture, customs, as well as cuisine and entertainment. Despite being originally from Brno, he knows Prague like a local and is happy to share tips on places of interest with visitors. He started working in the hotel industry in high school and during his studies at university he gained the necessary education and experience, which he applies on a daily basis. He worked his way through various management positions and after completing his Master's degree, he sought employment with the PYTLOUN HOTELS chain. He can't imagine life without exercise, so in his free time he likes to rollerblade, go skiing in the mountains or visit the gym. Together with his friends, he goes for a walk after work and discovers other places he hasn't had the chance to explore before.
